Every second Thursday of the month, Barker Street hosts a social event for dogs and their humans called “Yappy Hour.” The gathering brings together dogs of all breeds in a casual, non-structured setting and raises money for a local or national pet-related charity.
Free dog treats are available as are free people treats for the humans.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for gatherings. Sponsors choose the pet friendly charity which will be the recipient of the funds raised that evening. Contact Barker Street for details.
Our June Yappy Hour was a blast and raised over $500 for The Woodlands Dog Park Club’s “Have a Heart” fund which subsidizes much of the treatment of Heartworm positive animals at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
